"Beau" is an approx 2 yro neutered fawn male, with docked tail and VERY closely cropped ears that turn inwards.  He was found wandering in a supermarket parking lot several months ago.  The lady that found him tried very hard to trace his owners, to no avail (he is not tattooed or microchipped).  She had his shots brought up to date, neutered and then placed him in a home.  Sadly, the new owner had a heart attack and had to return him.  The lady took him back and then released him to rescue.  He is severely underweight - he weighs 64.2 lbs and should be closer to 90 lbs - stands 27" tall.  Beau is very friendly, active and outgoing, knows sit and down, will shake a paw and loves to give kisses - he is non dog aggressive, however he doesn't like cats.  I have had him heartworm checked (clear) and he has a urinary problem at the moment.  Beau has oxalate (crystals) in his urine (caused by improper feeding and water restriction) which makes it a little difficult for him to urinate properly - he is on meds for this and will be rechecked before rehoming.  For further info, contact Margo Illing at pitabouv@sympatico.ca .
