Installing the Bouvier cursor on your Windows desktop |

The following directions are for Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. |

Download the bouvier.cur file by holding your cursor here. Right click the mouse button to
get a menu. In Firefox or Netscape, choose "Save Link As." In Internet Explorer, choose "Save Target As." Store the file as bouvier.cur in the C:\windows\cursors\ folder. In Windows 2000, the cursors folder will
be in C:\winnt\. The pictures below will appear slightly different in each version of Windows, but the procedure is the same for each version.. Make sure you save the file with a cur extension. |

Open the control panel by going to the Start menu, choose Settings...Control Panel. The Control Panel should
appear as below. |

Double click on the Mouse icon. A dialog will appear as below. |

Select the Pointers tab at the top. The dialog will then appear as follows. |

Make sure the Normal Select item in the table is selected as shown above. Then select the Browse button to open
the file chooser dialog as shown below. |

Locate the C:\windows\cursors\ folder and select the bouvier.cur file. Then select the Open button. The
Pointers dialog window will appear as below. |

Select the OK button and your normal desktop cursor will be a Bouvier. To revert back to the normal Windows
cursor, all you need to do is get to the Pointers dialog again, select the Normal Select item in the table, then select the Use Default button and then the OK button. |
