"Casper" is a 7 yro (DOB Nov 23/93) now neutered male Lhasa Apso. He is white w/tan marking, is utd on shots and has had his teeth cleaned and
several removed - this gives him a slightly 'unbalanced' look. He was originally rescued from a Puppymill, where he was used at stud. Casper is very good with other dogs although he really
doesn't know how to play yet. Children unknown, but I would suggest an 'older' home as he hasn't had the exposure to children in his early years. Casper appears to be very hard of hearing (his
ears have been checked, they were full of infection which may have caused this condition) - it just may be a matter of time and stimulation. For further info contact Margo Illing at pitabouv@sympatico.ca |
Apr 2/01 Casper has now been renamed "Dandy" - because he is 'just dandy' according to his new mom Steph. Dandy went to live with
Pete and Stephanie Jackson (they had adopted Cashew last year) - they were looking for 'the perfect companion' and big brother for Cashew. They came to spend an afternoon here last week getting
acquainted with Dandy, then took him home to try fostering him for me. I received a call today that things couldn't be better and they have decided to adopt him - apparently 'the boys' play together,
curl up together for naps and thoroughly enjoy their walks together - they're two peas in a pod!! Updated pics coming soon. |
