July 16/01  My name is Diago and I am approx 5 yro.  I have spent the last 6 months in a boarding kennel waiting for my forever home.  I was dumped at a vet clinic and was scheduled for the humane society when Adopt-a-Rott took me into their program.  The person in Adopt-a-Rott who looks after me at the kennel tells everyone how great I am with people.  She says that she has never heard me growl at anyone.  (It's true..I love all people)  She tells them that I am great with children, and other dogs but cannot be placed in a home with cats.   I did get to spend 3 weeks with a family who were very sad when they sent me back to the kennel, but we all knew that it was only a short-term foster situation. What I am really looking for is a forever home that will love me and take me on walks (which by the way, the person  at AaR says I do wonderfully. )  I am neutered, vaccinated heartworm tested and on medication for the summer.  I may exhibit some separation anxiety at first in my new home, but the people at AaR will coach you on how to deal with it.  I am getting sad staying at the boarding kennel and would like a home. Adoption Donation of $250.00 applies.  Application for adoption must be completed prior to meeting Diago.  If you are looking for an excellent family pet, please call Adopt-a-Rott - Sandy 905-692-9882 or http://www.adoptarott.com/

Sept 6/01 Just an update.  Diago was adopted on Tuesday!!  The family that had him for the last month decided that he should stay with them.  We finalized the adoption on Tues.  COOL huh!

Thank-you  for your help and encouragement with this boy.
