Mar 3/02 Fergus is a 10 month old Bouvier/lab X with natural tail and ears. He is neutered, up to date on shots, is microchipped and is crate trained. He is a
typical puppy, all over you but has some basics. He will sit, then down and will stay believe it or not. But he sure needs to learn that jumping is not the answer. We are working on that.
He shreds blankets so he has none right now. Keeps upsetting his water bucket so I will have to change that. Otherwise he is a very nice boy. Fergus is fabulous with children and people, somewhat
cautious of other dogs (due to a lack of socialization, but it's coming) - he needs an owner committed to taking him to training classes and spending time exercising this very active dog. For further info

.Mar 31/02 Fergus was not in rescue long which is what rescue groups of all types prefer. Dan and Miriam had lost their Bouvier "Saxon" to a fluke car accident. They drove thru some
horrendous traffic on the 401 from Toronto to Belleville to visit one Friday evening in March. The attraction between Fergus, Dan & Miriam was very apparent. A date was arranged for a home check in
Orillia at the end of March. Fergus and Kathleen made the trip after the All About Pets Show in Mississauga (where Fergus got to show off his absolutely wonderful nature). The home check was completed
and approved. Fergus was able to stay with his new parents that very day. Reports have it that he is learning that chasing cars is not a good idea and he is adapting to life by the water in a
beautiful "cottage" (with a home in Toronto too!). |
