Apr 25/02  This is Jacob - he is an approx 1 yro neutered male bouvier X with natural ears and tail. Jacob was found as a stray - he waited in the HS for his owners to claim him, but as they never came for him, he was released to rescue. He is a smaller boy but still has a lot of growing to do. Jacob is very silly and playful but as he has never had much socialization, he's rather nervous of new situations (but recovers quickly).  He seemed to enjoy the ride home in the truck but was shocked by the size of the yard and all the grass. He definitely needs some leash work and obedience training. After several tries, he now willingly goes into his crate and appears at this time to be house trained. Jacob was officially adopted today, July 28, 2002.  A lovely family  consisting of Jacqueline, Joe and Alexander made him a part of their family  after a week's trial.  He doesn't wander off, plays well with all the dogs  that come to visit and has a forest to walk and play in at his back door.  He  is quite taken with Dad and checks on Alexander from time to time and loves  to come for treats from Mom.
