Dec15/01  This is Mandy - she is approx 1.5-2 yrs old - probably not spayed but this will be done before placement.  Mandy was hit by a car and waited in the HS for 10 days, without medical treatment, before being brought here to me to foster.  She has a fractured pelvis that will require 9 weeks of full crate rest.  The specialists that read her x-rays feel that she will recover fully with little or no effects from this injury.  Mandy is incredibly sweet, playful, very friendly and loves her stuffy toys.  She learns quickly and wants very badly to please - she is good with other dogs.  If you are interested in either fostering or adopting Mandy pls contact either Sandy adoptarott@hotmail.com (905) 692-9882 or myself at pitabouv@sympatico.ca..

Mar 1/02  I rec'd the following email from Sandy at Adopt-a-Rott - after many months recovering, Mandy has finally gone to her 'forever' home - I'm so very pleased as she is a wonderful dog!!  Great job Sandy!!

Mandy's new home is an experienced Rottweiler home.  They are a couple whose children have grown up and left the home.  Their daughter has a St. John's Ambulance Therapy Rottweiler.  Mandy has her own bed beside mom and dad's bed.  She loves her stuffies and likes to go into her crate and lay down, but prefers to snuggle on the couch with either Mom or Dad.
