July 22/01 This is 'Maya' - she is a 5-6 month old chocolate Merle Great Dane pup with natural ears.  I brought her and another Great Dane from Quebec.  Maya is a smaller Dane and is somewhat shy as she hasn't been socialized with people and other dogs. She also needs some work with her housetraining.  She will have to be spayed and her shots brought up to date.

Update July 28/01  I asked a very dear friend of mine who lives on a very large horse farm (she is also a vet tech) to foster Maya (she has 2 Great Danes and recently lost her older female Dane, Chelsea, and also has a 15 mos old Bouvier) - I knew that Maya would get the love and attention that she needed. After fostering Maya for a few days, Ang and Jen have decided that Maya is 'home to stay'!  she has fit right into their household, plays with Gretchen, the bouv pup, and bosses the other Danes around - she even gets along with the cats. AND I get to go and visit her!!  She's a really nice dog!
