June 24/01 This is Sadie - she is a 3 yro spayed female Doberman w/cropped ears and docked tail. Sadie had been kept outside as she was
apparently peeing in the house - there has not been one accident since she arrived here - she will bark and 'dance' to go outside. She was reportedly 'severely overweight' - she is only slightly
overweight caused mostly by being very undercondition - she has no muscle mass at all. Sadie is very friendly once she gets to know you, exceptionally intelligent - she learned to catch cookies in 3
tries! - she knows sit, down and walks well on a leash, loves to give kisses and will now play with toys. Sadie will be brought up to date on her shots and heartworm. She is the 'old style' of
Doberman, heavier boned, shorter in height with a lovely face. Reportedly good with older children and is good with other dogs. For further info, pls contact Margo Illing at pitabouv@sympatico.ca.June
30/01 Sadie is on her way home. She is being taken to her new family by her new skin 'sister' and vet, Donna, who has been spending every morning here taking Sadie for walks and getting
acquainted. She goes to live on a 400 acre farm with horses and cows and will be welcomed home by her new mom & dad, Nigel and Judy and big dober brother, Dylan. She's going to be a 'Dober
Princess'!! |
