Sept 09/01 This is Teddy, he is a neutered male Bichon. He was brought into my vets to be euthanized because he was found as a stray. We have
had all his blood tests run, including a urinalysis, and his teeth have been cleaned (he had 4 removed) - Teddy suffers from 'Renal Insufficiency' probably caused by being fed a too high protein diet (as in
cat food!). Over the past month that he has been here with me, he has gained 5 lbs (now weighs approx 12 lbs), his hair is growing back in and his blood levels are returning to normal. To be on the
safe side, Teddy needs to be on a lower protein/fat diet. He loves to cuddle, adores small children BUT he suffers from severe separation anxiety without another dog around. Therefore the ideal
home for Teddy would be with another small dog for company and with someone who is home most of the time to give him the love and attention he so richly deserves. For further info pls contact Margo

Oct 5/01 Norrie and Judy adopted their little 5 yro female Bichon, Teaka, last year. She has been getting a little lonely so they contacted Small Paws Rescue Canada to try and find her a
companion. They came to meet Teddy and to see if Teaka and him would get along. It was love at first sight!! Teddy jumped and barked as if to say 'it's about time you got here to get
me!". He and Teaka played and snuffled one another. Teddy has gone to his 'forever' home where he is well loved and has constant companionship. Good luck, little guy!! |
