She stands for Liberty, Peace and Democracy!
Long may 'She' reign!

On September 11/01 a heinous act of terrorism was committed against the American people and all peace loving people around the world.  The destruction of the World Trade Center and the attack on the Pentagon killed thousands of people and left many, many more without loved ones and friends.

I have watched as the events unfolded and my heart has cried out in sorrow for the evil that has befallen the citizens of New York City and all of America.  I can't imagine the fear and grief that the American people are feeling. This senseless loss of life has affected all of us, regardless of where we live.  Now is the time for people of all nations to declare that we have had enough of terrorism, senseless killing of innocent people and attacks on the very core of our being - Democracy!!

To the ones that gave your lives - may you rest in the arms of the angels. The senseless loss of life of those on the airplanes, the passengers, the flight crews, the workers - you will never be forgotten.

To the ones left behind - my heart cries with you.  May you find peace and solace in the love and support of all those around you.

To the many volunteers, firefighters, and police officers - I bow my head in gratitude.  Yours is the hardest job of all.  You continue to search for lost comrades and for any survivors in the worst of conditions, knowing that time is running out. You don't give up and you put aside your own safety for the sake of others.  Bless you and may God keep you safe.

To the American people - I send love and healing thoughts.  I pray for peace and an end to this horrible nightmare that we are all caught up in.  Be strong and stay united for 'United we stand, divided we fall'.  God Bless America and all good people everywhere!!
